2012 Annual Conference - Many Voices One Spirit

about the conference

Each year, hundreds of Head Start professionals, parents, and community partners convene in Atlanta at our annual training conference, the premier professional development event for the regional Head Start community. Like you, these participants seek to expand their networks, knowledge, and leadership capacity. The conference provides the perfect opportunity to connect with regional colleagues as well as those from across the country, gain insight from noted keynote and plenary speakers, and attend educational sessions addressing key issues, quality initiatives, and best practices.

Our conference also features special events and activities such as Pre-Conference Seminars, Public Policy Luncheon and the Awards Gala, recognizing the outstanding achievements of individuals and organizations in our region. In addition, our lively exhibitor marketplace showcases the latest materials and products by industry leaders.

RIVHSA Legislative Conference Calls

REGION IV HEAD START ASSOCIATION

LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE CALLS WITH DAVID BRADLEY

Now, more than ever, the voice of early care and education is critical in Washington, D.C and RIVHSA has worked hard to develop a legislative agenda which gives a voice to the most important issues facing HS/EHS programs in Region IV and across the country. Our legislative agenda and activities are position driven and nonpartisan in approach.

As part of our advocacy plan, we have scheduled  legislative conference calls for the regional HS/EHS community from August-November 2011.   RIVHSA is committed to providing opportunities for the regional HS/EHS community  to remain abreast of emerging issues and trends  through the work of our government affairs firm (Moss McGee & Bradley), public policy events, issue forums, and much more!
